Portland Composite Cement also referred as PCC is a type of cement which is heavily used in the construction of infrastructures in Bangladesh. It is manufactured using clinker, slag, PFA, gypsum and limestone. All of these makes it durable, strong, have high chemical resistance, low permeability and heat of hydration, and gives it many other properties that ensures longevity of a development. The cement conforms to the standard: BDS EN 197-1:2003 CEM II/AM or BM 42.5N.
Mir Portland Composite Cement is a widely utilized construction material and is generally used as a binding material. It is composed of cement, (commonly Portland Cement) and other materials such as fly ash and slag cement, aggregate or crushed rocks such as limestone, which makes it a crucial component of strong developments.
